24th May 2012

Today we are pleased to announce the introduction of a new Laserglaze product for the Airfix/Hornby GWR ‘B’ Set. No pictures yet as this has only just come in to production. The product reference number is EELG4018 and price code K.

Work in progress and hopefully for introduction at the DEMU exhibition are 4mm scale Class 31 window sets to cover Airfix, Lima, Hornby Railroad range, and Hornby (regular range) body variants. Also underway and anticipated in production for delivery at DEMU are glazing sets for the 4mm scale Heljan Hymek, and the Bachmann Class 25 locomotives.

This weekend we are at Railex Aylesbury, where the B set glazing will be in stock, and then DEMU and Wigan before the summer break. See the diary page for more details. Hope to see you there!

Easter Opening Times

April 3, 2012

3rd April 2012
We’d like to thank all our customers who have dropped by at the recent shows, it was good to meet old and new customers and listen to feed back on how we’re doing. Unfortunately we are experiencing a slight delay in responding to emails received between 26th March and 3rd April. We will respond in the next week or so, the delay is due to re-stocking after the recent run of shows and an earlier than anticipated requirement for a computer upgrade.

We are also taking this time to close over Easter until Monday 16th April. During this time we will be completing the computer upgrade and also working on new product development to get a head start for the Autumn show season.

We are next out at Scalefour North at the end of April and hope to see you there.

Laserglaze Heljan Class 26 with closed window

Over the past few weeks we have been doing more development of our ranges, and are pleased to announce two new introductions to the laserglaze product range. Firstly by popular demand the glazing for the Heljan 4mm scale class 26 has been produced. There are options within the kit to produce a locomotive with open cabside windows, or with closed windows as per the original model. The test model had a plated over door window, however for those of you modelling a cab door with windows, these are supplied on the fret. Note as well the open discs from the extreme etchings range.

Our latest addition to the ‘heritage’ range is a simple glazing set to improve the appearance of the new GWR Dia N13 horsebox from Hornby. As you can see the difference is remarkable. Look out for other new additions to the range through the coming months.

Finally a new view showing the laserglaze Bachmann 08 window kit. Another simple transformation you can make using our products.

Warley Exhibition 2011& New Releases

November 18, 2011

18th November 2011

Today we’re pleased to show some of our recent etches in our nameplates and depot plaques range. These are all measured from the actual locomotive nameplates themselves as we pride ourselves in ensuring the products we sell are of the highest quality.

7mm, 4mm, 2mm Northern Belle Nameplates

Both Pullman liveried class 47’s, Solway Princess and Galloway Princess are available ex stock across the 7mm, 4mm, and 2mm scales, and are some of our best nameplates yet. The full color crests on these plates are decals, which give a superb rendition of these unique nameplates.

7mm, 4mm Fragonset Plaques

Next up is the iconic Fragonset Dragon available in both 7mm and 4mm scale, really showing the quality achieveable with our stainless steel etches.

7mm Crewe Depot Plaque

We’ve also just finished the complete range of depot plaques in 7mm scale. Whichever depot you wish to represent on your locomotive in either 7mm or 4mm scale, we are able to supply suitable plaques from stock. Like our nameplates above, these too have been measured from the actual depot plaques to ensure the accuracy and authenticity we strive for.

We continue development in our laserglaze range. This week we have completed the tooling for the Hornby 08/09 replacement glazing, which covers the early and late cab door variants. The later door having rounded corners to the window frames. These are ex-stock and are on the stand at Warley. In development tooling are the replacement cab windows for the Bachmann 08/09 which we hope to release in the run up to the christmas period.

Don’t forget our ‘Heritage’ laserglaze range, which covers the Bachmann high and low cab GWR pannier tanks, and our most recent releases of brake van glazing for the Bachmann GWR Toad and the Hornby LMS/BR 20T brake van. Development is underway in the Heritage range of other coaching and parcels stock, and we will post updates here in due course.

Finally this weekend is the Warley show at the NEC and we are there, stand C12. Please come and say hello, we hope to meet both new and existing customers over the weekend.
